Pulimurugan is a Vysakh’s 7th film as a director, he is a Malayalam Industry Actor, Screenwriter, and Director from 2010, his first film “Pokkiri Raja” was released in 2010, he worked with Malayalam leading actors Mammootty, Prithviraj, Jayaram, and Dileep. He initiates the Pulimurugan film in June 2014, Udayakrishna writes the Screenplay. Mohanlal plays the lead male role with the name of Pulimurugan. Kamalinee Mukherjee signed for the lead female role and her 3rd film in Malayalam, this is her first film with Mohanlal.
South Indian Actress Namitha, Jagapati Babu, Kishore, and Bala are signed for the supporting roles. Cinematography handled by Shaji Kumar and Editing handled by Mahesh Narayanan. The project Officially started in September 2015. The film shooting held at the various locations like Kothamangalam, Ernakulam, Vietnam, South Africa, and Thailand.
